as most of my friends know, i dont normally win, but i do go for moral victories. these include grots killing anything in shooting or CC, killing their main HQ, or anything random happening. if i was a sore loser i probably would have quit long ago, but im not, so im good. in this game if you are doing bad you need to be able to laugh at yourself every once in a while.
(on a side note, i think not having a single list for almost any stretch of time might have something to do with the winning thing)

i wouldnt call any of that a moral victory i would call it a fluke of nature. a moral victory is if your orls arent killing the civilian population but then space marines kill off all your orks then the civilian population thats a moral victory. i think really it just *cough you suck cough cough* bad dice rolling
ReplyDeletehow is that a moral victory? no one feels like they accomplished something without actually doing something/winning.
ReplyDeletemoral victory isnt doing something good with weak nits a morak victory would be losing but losing just barely after wiping out more of the enemey's force then he wipes out your even though you lost. Its like what happens if i play against josh or steve
ReplyDeletewell, that has happened to me when i played josh last, but i take what i get. if killing the opposing HQ with grots or such things make you feel slightly better about losing, than to me thats a moral victory. it raises your moral.
ReplyDelete...
ReplyDeletedo you mean moral or morale?
im quite confused
well that depends on what they each mean. as you can tell, i not so good in the words that sound/spelled almost just like each other.
ReplyDeleteyeah obviously...
ReplyDeleteI'm losing pretty consistently myself, but I feel like I'm learning from my losses, so that's not too terrible. Hopefully I'll learn enough to start winning more sometime soon :|
ReplyDeleteSea-Moose, do you play 40k at AGENTS? Who are you?
Yeah i play at agents i played against you the other day with my friend
ReplyDeleteAhh, Imperial Guard guy, gotcha :)
ReplyDeletei feel so well remembered...
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm terrible with names. Much easier to remember armies.
ReplyDeleteits pretty easy as of late since there arent many who have been playing 40k anymore
ReplyDeleteaint that the truth. its all warmachine. than again i see lots of people doing the side games like dystopian wars and such.
ReplyDeletei also feel like i do learn a little bit when i lose, like remembering to use the slaanesh dice and not the nurgle dice when rolling the last save on my keeper of secrets....i rolled the correct dice like 5 times after, all of them passed.... oh well, live and learn.
